Bologna conserva l'impronta dello splendore medioevale nei quasi 40km di portici che sono patrimonio mondiale UNESCO e nelle torri che sono uno dei tratti più cartteristici della città.
Bologna retains the imprint of its medieval splendor in the almost 40km of arcades which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and with the towers which are one of the most characteristic features of the city.
Piazza Maggiore è il cuore di Bologna realizzata come punto di inontro per mercati e aggregazione nel 1200, tradizione che continua ancora oggi con numerose iniziative. In estate diventa un grnde cinema all'aperto con oltre 3000 posti. Nei vicoli e portici che circondano la piazza si trovano numerosi negozi di cibo, mercati e bar per immergersi nello stile di vita bolognese con un aperitivo in compagnia.
Piazza Maggiore is the heart of Bologna built as a meeting point for markets and aggregation in 1200, a tradition that continues today with numerous initiatives. In the summer it becomes a large open-air cinema with over 3000 seats. In the alleys and arcades that surround the square there are numerous food shops, markets and bars to immerse yourself in the Bolognese lifestyle with an aperitif with your friends.
L'ospitalità e la tradizione culinaria bolognese sono conosciute in tutto il mondo, già nel 1300 si contavano 300 osterie e 50 alberghi. Questa tradizione di amore per la vita ha salde origini nella Università fondata nel 1088 che oggi conta circa 90.000 studenti. Le numerose ricette bolognesi, unite alle tantissime attività artigianali legate al cibo hanno contribuito a definire Bologna la "città del cibo".
The hospitality and the Bolognese culinary tradition are well known all over the world, already in 1300 there were 300 taverns and 50 hotels. This tradition of love for life has solid origins in the University founded in 1088 which today has about 90,000 students. The numerous Bolognese recipes, combined with the many artisanal activities related to food, have helped to define Bologna as the "city of food".
